Hemp contributes to solving thousands-year old mode of action of mosquito repellent
For thousands of years, camphor-rich trees and herbs have been used to repel mosquitoes. However, the mechanism by which these odorants drive away these pesty bugs has remianed unknown. Using the essential oils of Cannabis sativa L. plants, provided by EYBNA, a world leading Cannabis company, we have now resolved this puzzle. This exciting project involved 7 research labs in the U.S., Sweden, Israel and China. This study is now available on BioRxiv.
